The P&O Ventura is much larger than the other ships in the fleet. It was created to be different from the others by switching from the traditional P&O atmosphere to one that was more contemporary. The larger size makes it conducive to amenities associated with more modern cruise ships. This includes more options for kids, making the Ventura a good choice for families.
Because of its focus on being a more modern and family friendly ship, there is an amazing array of activities, restaurants, bars, and entertainment.
For dining, there is a choice of 11 different restaurants, including The White Room that features meals created in Britain and beyond. For more casual dining and for breakfast there are Saffron, Cinnamon, and The Waterside.
Like the others in the fleet, the Ventura cruise ship has a beautiful three-deck atrium scattered with shops, an internet café and bar, and the purser’s desk. One of the ship’s best features is the promenade deck perfect for walking around the ship or just enjoying the view.
Entertainment on board includes Fortunes, which is the ship’s casino and a mixture of comedy acts in the various clubs like the Tamarind Club. Other lounges on board include the Metropolis Bar and the Red Bar.
There is also a theatre that offers large professional looking production shows. It can also convert into a cinema where you can enjoy a variety of movies.
The Oasis Spa offers a beauty salon, a wide range of treatments like massages, facials, and body wraps. There is also a large gym with exercise equipment and classes, a sauna, and spa pool. There are a total of 4 pools on board the ship. There are also sports courts on the Ventura. Click to see the Ventura Itineraries
