Cunard Cruise LinesIf travel is meant to be savoured, then crossing the oceans should be a majestic experience, not merely a hop across the pond, as some would have it. For travellers of this persuasion, only one name evokes the pleasures of a golden era. That name is Cunard Cruise Line.

For more than 160 years, Cunard Cruise Line have reigned the high seas and rarely have there been more exciting times for our Company. In January 2004 we successfully launched Queen Mary 2 - the largest, most luxurious ocean liner ever built. The world-wide interest in our newest Queen has amazed us all, and she is greeted with fanfare and celebrations at every port of call. If you take time to browse through the special area on our site dedicated to Queen Mary 2, you'll see what a magnificent vessel she is. Be sure to look at the photo gallery with images of the beautiful interiors of the ship.

2004 marked the beginning of a new Transatlantic era, as Queen Elizabeth 2 passed the torch and transferred the route to Queen Mary 2 in April. For those of you who have always wanted to experience a crossing, Queen Mary 2 has 19 departures in 2006; but I encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment, as the most recent season has proved that the era of transatlantic travel by ship is stronger now than ever.

QE2 continues to operate her annual world cruise, and the number of those deciding to take the full voyage continues to rise. She also sails a variety of round-trip Southampton voyages.

You will find information on our site regarding Cunard Discount Cruises. Queen Victoria was launched in December 2007. She is a magnificent vessel built in true Cunard style, with, for example, Queen and Princess Grills fine-dining and suite accommodation to match, an impressive double height Queen's Ballroom, a two tiered library connected by a stylish spiral taircase, a conservatory style glass-roofed winter garden, a Cunard museum and, of course, sumptuous, traditional style décor throughout. All will be underpinned by our impeccable White Star Service, and I have no doubt that you will enjoy her every modern convenience too. Further information on the ship and her itineraries will follow in the New Year.

Through the site, we hope to entice you to join us on one of the many epic adventures we have to offer. After nearly two centuries in business, you will see there are hallmarks that are always found when you sail with the most famous ocean liners in the world:
