Getting to your destination couldn’t be easier. With most of our tours offering a choice of travelling either by coach, ferry, rail or plane, you can travel your way. See our individual tours for details.

Convenient coach pick-up points

All the river cruises featured in this brochure include complimentary coach travel to and from chosen ferry ports and selected pick-up points. We have a network of over 500 free coach pick-up points throughout the UK.

Join at Port

You may prefer to make your own way to port and join the ferry/Eurotunnel directly. Most ports offer parking for approximately £5 per day. Alternatively, if you have a long way to travel, start your holiday a day earlier with our special overnight deal at the Holiday Inn, Ashford North.

Selected hotel Holiday Inn Ashford North, Dover/Folkestone

From just £32, per person, per night*, based on two people sharing a twin/double room on a bed and breakfast basis. Free parking is available at the hotel for up to eight nights (subject to availability).

Regional flight option

Many of our river cruises offer a choice of flights, direct from local airports throughout the UK, so you can fly direct to your cruise destination.

Convenient transfers will ensure you arrive at your river cruise vessel in plenty of time to join fellow passengers for the start of your itinerary. For specific airport details, check the Holiday Options panel on each tour for availability.

National Express

From just £49 per person, you can enjoy return National Express travel to the Holiday Inn Express Canterbury for a pre and post cruise stay. Travel down the day before your holiday and enjoy an overnight stay, our coaches will then collect you the following morning. On the return journey, our

coaches will drop you off at the Holiday Inn Express Canterbury for another overnight stay, prior to making your way home the following morning with National Express. This means that you can join any of our departures even if they are not from your local area.

Eurostar Rail Travel

Why not journey to and from the MS Arlene by rail? Board Eurostar at either London St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet in Kent, relax in your reserved seat. From Brussels take the efficient continental rail network to the MS Arlene berthed in either Holland or Germany. This fast mode of transport costs £160 per person for the Standard Class return journey from London to Holland and £250 per person for the Standard Class return journey from London to Germany.
